Gina Plummer - Office Manager/Vet Tech Assistant
Gina joined the BVC team in Fall of 2007. She is originally from Charleston, SC but has lived in Burnsville for over 30 years . Gina has 4 dogs and 4 cats. She loves spending time with her family and pets.
Sheena Harris - Veterinary Tech
Sheena joined the BVC team in August on 2017 after completing her intership with us from the AB Tech Veterinary Medical Technology program. She is a native of Madison County. She has 6 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 reptiles.
Karissa Peterson - Receptionist
Karissa joined the BVC team in December of 2017. She is a Yancey County native who has six dogs and a hermit crab. She loves spending time with her family and pets.
Tonya Styles- Receptionist
Tonya joined the BVC team in February of 2018. She is a fomer Radiology Technologist for the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC for 29 years.
Chasity Whisenant- Recptionist
Chasity joined our team September 2020. She is married with 2 wonderful childeren. She recently moved to this area from Burke County. She loves the beautiful mountians and exploring with her family.
Cara Lollo- Veterinary Tech
Cara was born and raised in New York. She started in the field volunteering at animal hospitals when she was 14 years old. She graduated from the State University of Delhi's Veterinary Technician program in 1996. She moved to North Carolina in 2004 to be closer to her mother. She has 1 daughter who is a blessing to her and wants to follow in her mother's foot steps. She has 2 dogs named Ozzie and Harriet and 2 cats named Nelson and Suzie. She is huge advocate for Animal Rights.
