Gina Plummer - Office Manager/Vet Assistant

Gina joined the BVC team in Fall of 2007. She is originally from Charleston, SC but has lived in Burnsville for over 30 years . Gina has 4 dogs and 4 cats. She loves spending time with her family and pets.

Karissa Peterson - Receptionist
Karissa joined the BVC team in December of 2017. She is a Yancey County native who has six dogs and a hermit crab. She loves spending time with her family and pets.

Tonya Styles- Receptionist
Tonya joined the BVC team in February of 2018. She is a fomer Radiology Technologist for the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC for 29 years.

Cara Lollo- Veterinary Assistant
Cara was born and raised in New York. She started in the field volunteering at animal hospitals when she was 14 years old. She graduated from the State University of Delhi's Veterinary Technician program in 1996. She moved to North Carolina in 2004 to be closer to her mother. She has 1 daughter who is a blessing to her and wants to follow in her mother's foot steps. She has 2 dogs named Ozzie and Harriet and 2 cats named Nelson and Suzie. She is huge advocate for Animal Rights.
